- still dizzy, i fire up twitter on my iphone
- first tweet: Demonbaby says old people voted for mccain and that they should please die.
- shock. has mccain won then?
- try opening cnn.com on iphone. doesnt work
- try opening bbc.co.uk on iphone. loading time horrendous, i cancel.
- fire up laptop and go to cnn.com - barack won!
- can’t believe it so i go to bbc.co.uk - barack won!
- i go watch the last minute of his victory speech on bbc video and am in awe of his inspirational words
- i am really happy and announce it to everyone who is online on skype, msn, by text, by email.
- i go to work by tube as every morning and no one seems to be bothered
- i remember i am actually in the UK, not in the US
- i come to work and announce barack’s win. no one really reacts. people shrug and say “yeah…”. some people show enthusiasm.
- i’m still happy.
